This accurately replicated 1:18 scale model by ACME pays homage to the #15 Daytona Coupe driven by Dan Gurney and Bob Bondurant at the 1964 12 Hours of Reims. While Gurney set the fastest GT qualifying time during the race, unfortunately the car suffered a broken tail shaft on the transmission during the 2nd hour and was unable to finish.
Despite the DNF, this Shelby Daytona became well known for the 'Dan Gurney for President' sticker that adorned the rear fender during the race. A copy of the same sticker is included with each model!
